Introducing  Fonteyn!

Margot Fonteyn was a British prima ballerina who danced with The Royal Ballet and was appointed Prima Ballerina Assoluta by HM The Queen, she defined the image of the ballerina for much of the 20th century, and she is the namesake of this mid-century-inspired ballerina dress.

The one-shouldered bodice features a cotton base topped with premium quality tulle, gathered and pleated  on the bias, and adorned with a lovely collection of silk flowers.  The many-layered skirt in bridal tulle features both rectangular and circle cuts, strategically gathered to the waist.  The elasticized back bodice, shoulder tie and adjustable fixed strap lend my signature flexibility to this design.
